Welcome to PlayMatchPoint (“we,” “our,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the MatchPoint mobile app and the website playmatchpoint.app (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1) Information We Collect

Information you provide. Name, email, account credentials, profile details, and content you upload (e.g., profile photos, clan badges), match history and ratings, and support messages.

Information collected automatically. Device model, OS/app version, session timestamps, and push notification tokens.

Third-party sign-in. Google Sign-In (Android): we receive your Google display name, email, and Google user ID to create/sign in your account.

Not currently collected: precise GPS location, analytics tracking, advertising identifiers, or Crashlytics diagnostics. If we add such features, we’ll update this Policy before enabling them.

2) AI-Generated Content

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence (“AI”) to generate clan names and clan badges using OpenAI (ChatGPT). AI output may be inaccurate, offensive, or similar to existing content and may not be reviewed by us. You are responsible for how you use AI content and must not use it to infringe intellectual property, defame, or violate others’ rights.

3) How We Use Information

• Authenticate accounts and provide matchmaking, ratings, and match history features
• Store/display user content (e.g., photos, badges, profiles)
• Send transactional push notifications (match requests/updates)
• Maintain reliability, security, and prevent abuse
• Respond to support and deletion requests

4) Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
• Google Sign-In (Android)
• OpenAI ChatGPT (AI clan names and badges)

These providers may process data in the United States or other countries with appropriate safeguards where required.

5) Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers under contract, to comply with law, or to protect rights and safety.

6) Data Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion (see “Your Rights”).

7) Your Rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data. Account deletion: email [email protected]. We’ll verify and delete eligible data unless retention is required by law.

8) Children’s Privacy (13+)

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Do not use the Service if you are under 13.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method is 100% secure.

10) Changes

We may update this Policy; the “Effective date” shows the latest revision. Continued use means you accept updates.
